Cheer Music
Cheerleading is an extremely up beat sport. Cheerleading routines often include an array of greatly executed moves. Cheerleading includes many dance moves from turns to splits and even poses, but it also includes many gymnastic moves like flips and tumbles. On top of that cheerleading has created its own unique moves as well like pyramids which can be extremely simple to elaborate. A cheerleading performance is very entertaining, however without the right cheer music it can be a complete failure, not matter how complex or perfect the cheerleaders moves were executed.
Music is a way of expression for nearly every individual in ever culture. It is a medium that everyone can relate to in some way or another. Music not only sounds great, it also draws in your feelings and is a great way to relax or express yourself Because music has such a dramatic effect on most individuals throughout the world it is often paired with other talents to enhance them. Throughout history music has accompanied theatrical performances, dance performances and most other forms of performance art. It is only natural that music would be incorporated into cheerleading to further draw onlookers into their entertainment. Cheer music usually attends every cheer performance, from performances on the sidelines of games, to actual competition performances.
Cheer music is usually extremely upbeat and it relates to the type of routine that has been assembled. Often times the music reflects the moves of the routine and many times it brings the cheerleaders moves to life. It is common for music to have many short beats as cheerleaders move to pose for every beat. In periods of long rifs of the music it is common for cheerleaders to show their tumbling talents. Many cheerleading squads incorporate many different types of upbeat music from the most popular music of the era to less known music from past eras. The more unique the music you choose for your performance is, the more unique your performance will appear.
